Very Happy with this productAugust 23, 2010 mpaul111 I have unruly curly hair and so I usually keep it very short; however I have wanted to grow it long again. The last time I grew out my hair it was a pain; between the need to flat iron it and then I finally had it chemically straighten, my hair looked like it was pasted to my head or like straw. So after some research I found this product and the reviews were mostly all good so I bought it and did it myself. Took a little time but not too long, though I will recommend having someone help with the process. It has been a week and my hair is still soft and shiny, every time I take a shower I am scared that it will go back to being curly but it hasn't so far. I use a light leave in conditioner and let my hair dry and it has been awesome not having to spend 30+ mins on my hair each day.
Good productAugust 3, 2010 Ms. Tea Maven(California) Although this product did not result in miraculously straight hair, it does cut down on frizz. I live in the Bay Area and we have had a lot of wet, nasty fog this summer. Fog is not a curly, frizzy hair girl's friend! I have used this product twice. It has not completely eliminated my curls. However, when I straighten my bangs with the dryer, they stay straight. They no longer frizz up. So I still style my hair every day, but now my hair stays the way I style it. I definitely will buy this product again.

I had such high hopes for this product after reading the reviews and then going on YouTube and watching the videos of how the keratin hair treatments are suppose to work.
I followed the directions to the letter. I treated my hair on one side of my head, so that I could see what the difference would be.
After the treatment was complete (about an hour) I washed my hair with a non-sodium laurel sulfate shampoo (as directed), and conditioned it. My hair did look petty nice and the treated side felt slightly smoother than the non-treated side, but visually there was no difference in shine.
Then I tested the product by going outside to take a walk in the summer heat and humidity. Twenty minutes later I was back from my walk and looked in the mirror. Both the treated and untreated hair were equally frizzy and out of control. Both felt rough.
I must conclude that the other reviewers that rated this product highly were plants from the company and not real customers. This product really doesn't work at all. I have no doubt that some keratin products work, but this one sure doesn't.

I have struggled with fine, thin, extremely curly, frizzy hair all my life. I have also caused severe damage by constantly fighting it with products, chemical treatments, blow dryers, and flat irons. This keratin treatment is amazing, I am hooked. Even after having read great reviews, I had low expectations as products generally disappoint. And how could a $60 home product rival a $400 salon treatment? I am thrilled to report I was wrong. This WORKS. It took at least 2 hours but was TOTALLY worth it. I did not wash my hair for a couple days following, my hair was so smooth, soft, and straight I was reluctant to wash out the effects. It's almost as though it sealed my split ends and filled in the damage, my hair actually looks and feels healthy (and it's decidedly not!). I sat outside in 90%+ humidity and perspired like crazy, hair still looked great. When I washed it, I air dried to see how it would turn out. Not straight, but wavy with no frizz ... amazing given the fact that normally I have tight corkscrew frizzy curls. I quickly ran a flat iron through and in less than 10 minutes I had shiny, smooth hair again. WOW! I am sooooo happy, this cuts the time of my morning routine by two-thirds. The seller was great too, product arrived early and sealed in great condition. THANKS

I have type 3B fine hair, therefore, I've allowed my hair to air dry to reduce possibly hair damage caused by the heating elements. I followed the instruction (Spanish) sheet and after doing the first step my hair was unmanageable, which alerted me. Once my hair was semidry, I proceeded to the second step. Comprehensively, this process took me almost 2 hours to complete, from start to finish. My hair now looks expensively vamped! In retrospect, I don't recall having healthy looking hair, this good, IN AGES. I give this KT product five stars (for now) for it has delivered efficaciously on the first time application. Due to hair loss claims made by other BKT users, I will be looking-out for signs of hair loss and possibly keep you guys updated unless otherwise. The 4Oz bottle was just enough for my shoulder hair length, therefore, I must place another order soon. A big THANK YOU to the seller for the first class shipping gift- it arrived in 2 days.
