broken lockJuly 26, 2010 mini i ordered both matte and ultra shimmer palette. the case is of very poor quality. the plastic lock kind of thing just falls of every time you try to open the case.. In one of the palette it is still manageable but the other one just cant be held back in its place.
returning one of them back right away.( thanks to amazon's easy return policy)
Go for the Matte PaletteJuly 21, 2010 MsJuneDay The colors have all the same cheap, unblendable, oxidizing shadows in every pan. This does not wear well through out the day, you better off taking you $20 to buy a couple nicer shadows that are out of your comfort zone. The package is cheap as well and broke in half in no time.
I'm fine with the 88 Matte palete and use it on a regular basis!

Pretty Colors, but itchy!!!July 5, 2010 MakeupPirate I heard soo many good reviews for this product and then I got it. The colors are beautiful and there are so many options, but i endend up getting an eye infection from this eyeshadow, and after i stipped using this product it went away. Needless to say I will never get Coastal Scents products again.
Great Product, really delivers!!June 25, 2010 Natalie H. I just applied some colors from the 88 Ultra Shimmer Pallete, and I am very pleased with the results so far. There are a wide variety of colors for any look you want to achieve and , for the price, I think it's worth purchasing. The only drawback I can see is if you don't usually use or prefer really shimmery colors, this may not be for you. Also, people may find that when the colors are applied, some of it may fallout or fade together. My suggestion is to use a eyelid primer before applying the colors. You won't need to load up your brush w/ as much product, and the colors will stay in place much longer. So, overall, great product, nice colors, and a bargain! Again, I would suggest using an eyelid primer before applying these shimmery colors.
